Hush Hush Too Big
The Hush Hush Facebook application developed by Workonline, has now caused the Hush Hush Facebook group to grow too big.
Hush Hush has now had to setup a second group, to ensure that they can maintain contact with all their members! Hush Hush used their group to pack the FTV club in Cape Town last Wednesday.
Just another example of the power of the Internet! We love it.

New Head Quarters
Finally, the Workonline Group's new HQ has been secured and is under construction!
Our new address will be 200 Buitengracht Street, located in the Cape Town Central Business District - this is sure to be a stunner. Designed by LFS Architects, and the project being managed by MFS Quantity Surveyors, makes us feel very comfortable that the result is sure to be absolutely magical.
Don’t worry; a welcoming party will take place as soon as construction in Cape Town has finished for all our preferred clients and suppliers.
For those of you who want to know more about London, our UK office is still in progress, and should be opening on the 1st March 2009.

Further Growth
We now have the pleasure of welcoming Arnold Breedt to our growing Project Management team (led by Georgia Schumann). Arno brings with him extensive technical expertise, and clear boundries, in order to assist us in managing our clients expectations further still. Arnold was previously a systems administrator at UCT, before becoming the systems administrator of the National Astrophysics and Space Science Programme (also at UCT).

Hush Hush on Facebook
Hush Hush (www.hushhush.co.za), Cape Town's most up to date and comprehensive night life guide has now launched on Face Book.
Our face book application, developed by Workonline, allows our users to view all up coming nightlife events in Cape Town, be added to the guest list of any event via SMS, as well as invite their friends (online and offline) to also get free access to an event and be added to the guest list.
We love this application, and its already started to take off...

Development Update
Having had a prosperous month in April, we thought it would be a good idea to let you know what we have been up to.
Firstly, the month included the smooth and successful launch of www.bedbutler.co.za (we don't do Heathrow Terminal 5 launches) which we expect to be a huge success. Watch this space.
Secondly, the Chelsea Garden Studio webiste (www.chelseagardenstudio.co.za) was also successfully launched, with our client being very happy (obviously) with the final result.
Thirdly, two more marketing/advertising agencies in the UK have decided to use Workonline for the development of their clients website. They provide us with their creative direction and vision, and trust us to complete the design and development of their client's websites based on their brief. What higher proof of our great services can we offer than this.
And finally, due to our growth, our team is expanding. We are looking for a senior project manager with a good team spirit to join us. Further skills required include strong interpersonal skills, an understanding of software and web development, and possibly a hint of workaholism... send relevant information (Curriculum vitae's, letters of recommendation etc) to edward@workonline.co.za.

Bed Butler Online
Soon to be South Africa's leading online booking mechanism for the small and medium accommodation establishments is coming close to launch.
Workonline Interactive has been working on this exciting project, with a great team, for almost 6 months from the initial conceptualizations.
Check it out once it launches! It includes great unique functionality and technical features, presented by an exquisite front end design. This is going to make some serious waves in South African tourism accommodation industry.

Being the first post, I feel that it is most appropriate to let you know that Workonline Interactive, the software and website development section of our group is now launching in London.

Our first major client in the UK has asked us to develop an Alternate Reality Game (described further here), of which we are in the first phase of development. Based on the novatly of thier concept, I have committed to being able to say no more, but will let you know once it is launched.
